Some skier prefer to use websites like TrainingPeaks or smart watch platforms to keep track of their training. Technology certainly has mad training data more accessible since with pen and paper journal days. Many professional skiers still chose to use ski-specific excel or google doc logs because they can track hours, modalities, workout type, and skiing related entries in a way that makes comparing year to year very easy. Manual logs also allow you to easily log sessions when you did not wear a heart rate monitor and split up single sessions into various methods such as speed, distance, warm up, over-distance, specific strength, etc.
