Space Dogs Ski Club

Biography

Space Dogs Ski Club specializes in the development of adult cross-country skiers of all levels – from beginner to competitive master racer. Besides season-long club memberships, we also teach 4-week Ski Foundation Courses and offer private instruction.

Our strength lies in developing skiers from beginner & intermediate to much more proficient, confident, and technically sound. All of our coaches come from international-level race backgrounds, including ex-National Ski Team skiers, Olympians, and World Cup medalists. We offer individualized training plans, detailed technique work (drills, video analysis, etc.), intensity training, fitness testing, competition preparation and support, access to our club wax room in Canmore, race wax support, and summer training (private outdoor-based gym, roller skiing). Our club members also have access to group ski trips, social events, and discounts on ski gear.

Our goal is to provide a professional, well-organized structure where club members can thrive in a supportive, inclusive, and positive environment and enjoy the opportunities to become better at their skiing. Our skiers say that the best part of the club is the passionate coaches they get to work with and the fun team culture.

We welcome ski newbies to try one of our Foundation Groups, where we focus on building a technically-sound foundation for anyone willing to take up skiing. A true testament to the program’s success is seeing our members progress from the beginner level to the Competitive Group in just a few seasons of skiing.
